Systeme IO Funnel Building FAQ
Before diving into Systeme IO, you should have a Domain Name and an Email Address. These will be connected to your Systeme IO account to use in your Funnels and Email Campaigns.
Name your Funnel after the Product you intend to Promote. This naming convention is for your reference only and helps you quickly identify the purpose of each funnel without needing to open and examine its contents.
A Squeeze Page, also known as an Opt-In or Landing Page, is designed to capture visitors' Names and Email Addresses. The Thank-You Page (or Bridge Page) is the second page of the funnel where you Thank users for opting in and "Bridge" the gap between you and your offer, often by pre-selling or introducing the product.
Customize the template by modifying the headline, subtext, and other page elements to match the offer. Use compelling copy that highlights the benefits of your offer without giving away too much information upfront. Adjust the background colors and transparency of the opt-in box to make it visually appealing and easy to read. Don't forget to add a privacy policy link.
An Affiliate Disclaimer is crucial for transparency. It informs visitors that the page contains an affiliate link, and you may earn a commission if they click the link and make a purchase.
To create an email campaign, go to "Emails" and then "Campaigns". Give your campaign a name and then create individual emails within the campaign. To automate sending, use the "Save and Publish" option for each email to set a delay (e.g., 5 minutes after opt-in for the first email, then a one-day delay between subsequent emails). You can also specify the time of day for sending.
Automation rules and workflows connect your opt-in page to your email campaign. When someone subscribes through your opt-in form, they are automatically added to your email campaign, triggering the sending of your pre-set emails. Use either a rule or a workflow, not both, for the same automation. Workflows are more visual and allow for more complex automations.
Tags help you organize and segment your contacts. You can create tags (e.g., "Digital Marketing") and add them to your automation workflow or rule. This allows you to identify which funnel a contact came through, particularly when promoting multiple offers, and helps you send more targeted emails in the future.
